Nanyuki, Kenya

Nanyuki is a frontier town in central Kenya, lying west of Mount Kenya. Nanyuki was founded by British settlers in 1907 and still has a British Army camp. Nanyuki is also visited by climbers and backpackers on their way to and from Mount Kenya.

The bicycle is an indispensible tool in Kenya, here a friend is helping me move to my new house with my belongings packed on the back of his bike.  The bike itself is Chinese made and is very heavy.
